National Gay Men’s HIV/AIDS Awareness Day
September 27, 2013 is National Gay Men’s HIV/AIDS Awareness Day. In 2008 the National Association of People with AIDS (NAPWA) launched this observance day to recognize the disproportionate impact of the epidemic on gay men.
Please take just a moment out of your day to remember those who we have lost in the fight against AIDS but also to let someone you know who is currently battling HIV/AIDS that you love them and care about them.
If you are someone or know of someone who should be tested for HIV, you can find resources here: AIDS.gov
