Thousands Line Alpena, MI Streets For Holiday Parade
ALPENA, MI – The Bolenz Jewelry Holiday Parade in Alpena, MI., stepped off in style as thousands lined Chisholm Street and Second Avenue to watch the annual night time event. The cold temperatures did not hold back though as it was 31 degrees with a light breeze that made it feel even colder.
As is custom, the Alpena Police Department lead the way followed by a military contingent carrying the Stars and Stripes. The Alpena Senior High School Marching Band proudly strutted up playing to the cheers of the crowd.
The Christmas Holiday Season has officially kicked off and what better way to get the area in the mood than the annual night time parade.
