‘King Romeo’ is Bay City Bank Robber
OAKLAND COUNTY, MI – Jules Bahler who likes to be known on Facebook as ‘King Romeo’ will be more than likely spending some time cooling his heels in federal prison. Jules Bahler was arrested in connection to the bank robbery at Chemical Bank at 1513 Columbus Ave on Bay City’s east side Wednesday morning. He is also connected to two other armed bank robberies one of which was as Genisys Credit Union in Pontiac and the other at a Bank of America in Pontiac.
Our King Romeo is 21 years old and is from Brooklyn, N.Y. Oakland County Sheriff’s Office and the FBI Oakland County Violent Gang Task Force had been investigating the robberies when an investigator learned from a Oakland County Sheriff’s sergeant that a Facebook page for Bahler showed pictures of him and what appeared to be the same cloths and weapon used during the crimes.
FBI and Oakland County Sheriff’s on Friday staked out a house matching that on Bahler’s Facebook page. When Bahler left in a car, he was stopped and taken into custody. The gun was in the vehicle. He has reportedly confessed to the crimes.
It would also appear that Jules Bahler has a gang affiliation with the Almighty Latin King Nation based on linked information to his Facebook profile.
