Young Girls Being Approached in Flint


FLINT, MI – Flint Township police are asking for the public’s help in three separate instances in the past month where young girls were allegedly approached by suspicious men in vehicles.Flint TWP

Two 10-year-old girls told police that a man driving a Chevrolet Cavalier with rust on the bottom and a blue Chevrolet license plate on the front approached them. The girls told police the man then allegedly offered them candy.

On Friday, Sept. 19, at 7:15 p.m. Flint Township police were called to the 3200 block of Augusta Street, the west side of Flint, in reference to a suspicious person, according to a news release from the Flint Township Police Department.

The other two incidents happened in August in the same general area according to Mlive.com.
