Two Sault Ste. Marie men busted transporting large amount of Heroin


SAULT STE. MARIE, MI – Two men from Sault Ste. Marie are locked up after they were arrested while transporting a large amount of Heroin.Drug Arrest

Jason Lawrence McRorie, 41-years-old, and James Leland Roy, 46-years-old, have been charged with possession of drugs with internet to deliver heroin as well as conspiracy to deliver heroin.




According to the Tri-County Drug Enforcement Taskforce the two have been under investigation for some time for transporting heroin from lower Michigan and selling it in Chippewa County.

The two were pulled over while driving north on I-75 Wednesday. It is at that time when authorities found a large amount of heroin they believe was to be sold in Chippewa County.

Additional arrests and charges may be forthcoming in this case.
