Two found Dead in Pontiac Motel Room


PONTIAC, MI – Oakland County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the 44700 block of Woodward Avenue, The Sagano Motel, for two subjects that were found inside a motel room and appeared to be dead.

Upon arrival, Deputies found a 57-year-old man and a 39-year-old woman, both Pontiac residents, dead in the room at about 1:45 p.m. on May 8th, 2017.




The man was found to be lying on the bed and the woman was lying on the floor. Prescription drugs and drug paraphernalia were found throughout the room. There were no were no obvious signs of trauma to either of the victims.

Witnesses advised Deputies that the victims were last seen on May 6th at approximately 8:30PM. When the woman failed to show up for an appointment with her Pastor on Monday at 1:00PM, the Pastor went to her motel room to check her welfare and found both victims deceased. The Pastor then called 9-1-1 to request help.

Oakland County Sheriff’s Detectives responded to the scene to continue with the investigation. The OCSO Forensic Science Laboratory was requested to process the scene.

An Investigator from the OCSO Medical Examiner’s Office responded to the scene to assist with the investigation. An autopsy was done on both victims on Tuesday.
