Washtenaw County Sheriff seeks information on Stolen vehicle crash [Video]


PITTSFIELD TOWNSHIP, MI – The Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Office is seeking help from the community to identify several subjects who were involved in a recent stolen vehicle crash.

On Friday July 7th, 2017 a 2006 Toyota Avalon was reported stolen out of Pittsfield Township. On 7/12/17 just after 4pm that vehicle was located in the area of Barrington and Stamford in Superior Township after the Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Office received a call from neighbors regarding a traffic crash that had just taken place.




The stolen vehicle was traveling west bound on Barrington and struck a parked vehicle prior to what you will see in the video below. The stolen vehicle continued west bound coming over the shoulder and onto the grass before striking a small tree and coming to a rest on its roof.

The video from a neighbors security camera and at 12 seconds you will see the stolen vehicle crash and shortly afterwards you will see several subjects flee the scene.
