Public Assistance Requested to Identify Suspect in Dearborn Jewelry Store Robbery [Video]


DEARBORN, MI – On Wednesday August 2nd, 2017, at 4:45am the Dearborn Police Department responded to a jewelry store in the area of Ford Road and Schaefer on a report of a burglary.

On scene, officers found the front door glass shattered. Video footage revealed that the suspects crashed a truck into the doorway, shattering the glass, which allowed two suspects to enter the store. Once inside the business the suspects stole numerous pieces of jewelry. The suspects abandoned the vehicle in the alley and fled the scene on a motorcycle.




The Dearborn Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspects in this incident. Anyone with information is asked to call 313-943-2241 or if you wish to remain anonymous you can call 1-800-CrimeStoppers. Crime Stoppers is offering a reward for information leading to the arrest of the suspect in this case.

Dearborn Police Chief Ronald Haddad stated, “Crime reduction is a top priority of the Dearborn Police Department. When these crimes occur, please know the utmost effort will be placed on identifying the offender(s) and bringing them to justice”.
