Suspect Charged in Standoff on I75 in Monroe County


MONROE, MI – The 37 year old Pontiac man who led deputies from the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office, and troopers from the Michigan State Police on a pursuit that ended in Monroe County in a standoff, was arraigned today at the First District Court in Monroe.

Mr. Juan Ramon Colon, from Pontiac, Michigan, was formally charged by the Monroe County Prosecutor’s Office with the following felony offenses: Carrying a Concealed Weapon, Fleeing and Eluding Fourth Degree, Resisting/Obstructing a Police Officer, and Carrying a Weapon during the Commission of a Felony.




Mr. Colon is currently being held at the Monroe County Jail with his bond set at $250,000 for his pre-trial release.
