Former President Bill Clinton told ABC’s This Week if Hillary Rodham Clinton decides to run for president in 2016, her next campaign “will be better,” “It’ll be different.” President Clinton was careful to say that former Secretary of State Clinton has not decided whether to run in 2016.
Former Secretary of State Clinton’s approval rating remains very high. Her accomplishments are numerous. As First Lady of Arkansas from 1979 to 1981 and 1983 to 1992 with husband Bill as Governor, she led a task force that reformed Arkansas’s education system. in 1997 and 1999, Clinton played a leading role in advocating the creation of the State Children’s Health Insurance Program, the Adoption and Safe Families Act, and the Foster Care Independence Act. After moving to the state of New York, Clinton won election as U.S. Senator in 2000, the first woman ever to have done so, and the only First Lady to have ever run for public office. After the 2008 Presidential election President Obama appointed Clinton as Secretary of State. Clinton visited more countries than any other Secretary of State.
No other person, male or female, is probably more uniquely positioned to win the White House in 2016 than Hillary Rodham Clinton.
