Habitual lawsuit-filer Robert Davis has a penchant for filing lawsuit after lawsuit and in many casing losing the battle. Mike Duggan who is running for Mayor of Detroit and his campaign have filed their own lawsuit against Davis. The Duggan campaign is requesting that Davis be required to pay attorney’s fees for his unsuccessful cases and a $25,000 cash bond if he wants to file another case in Wayne County. Wayne Circuit Court Judge Patricia Fresard has agreed to hold a Nov. 1st hearing on Duggan’s request.
It is high time that Mr. Davis be stopped from wasting the time, money and efforts of those wanting to honestly make Detroit a better place. Davis previously has been given a bill by the courts of some $40K for filing frivolous lawsuits.
