This week marks the anniversary of two events in our history. It is the 150th anniversary of Lincoln’s Gettysburg Address and on Friday, Nov. 22, 2013 we honor the memory of John F. Kennedy who was assassinated 50 years ago. It is ironic that the week remembers two of the most iconic presidents who were shot and killed while in office.
Throughout the nation events are taking place honoring both men. There are still many that do not know that the exact limousine that President & Mrs. Kennedy were riding is exhibited to the public at the Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn, Michigan. If you have not taken the opportunity to see this piece of history, this week would be a good time to do so. It is chilling to stand before this auto and realize the tragedy that took place in it.
