On Friday, December 6, 2013, we watched and listened in horror about the final moments of two little boys who perished in a house fire that was said to be possibly set by arsonists. The father made statements that he had only been away from them and out of the house for no more than 10 minutes. The neighbor, whose house is across the street that he was at, stated that he was there for at least 30 minutes and not 10.
The father also made statements that the two boys were both on the main floor in the dining room when he left. One boy was found on the main floor while the other was located on the 2nd floor of the house.
The mother of the two boys had been arrested and was incarcerated by Southfield Police on probation violations the night before the fire.
