ANN ARBOR, MI – For those craving the delicious burgers from Blimpy Burger, your wait is going to be over. Blimpy Burger has found a new home in downtown Ann Arbor and will be reopening some time in late June.
Rich Magner, owner of Blimpy Burger, has signed a lease to reopen at 304 S. Ashley Street. This is in the former Eastern Flame restaurant space.
Blimpy Burger will serve its popular burgers made with beef ground fresh daily. Though the location and interior will be different, you will still be able to sit and dine on the tables and chairs from its former location.
The former location located at the corner of Packard and S. Division in
Ann Arbor was sold to the University of Michigan so the school could construct a 600-bed graduate student dormitory. The original location closed on August 14th, 2013 after 60 years.
Ann Arbor is looking forward to Blimpy Burger reopening in it’s new location and wishes Rich Magner much continued success. You can keep up with Blimpy Burger on their Facebook Page or on their website
