UPDATE: The Detroit Police Department says the missing 7-week-old baby boy has been found safe.
DETROIT, MI – The Detroit Police Department is asking for the public’s help in finding a 7-week-old baby boy.
Ziairr Ryles, was last seen on Tuesday, September 2nd, 2014 at 4663 Outer Drive around 6:30 p.m. when he was dropped off by his grandmother and a cousin, 21-year-old Quaiana Kailee Taylor. Taylor brought Ziairr into an apartment complex but never arrived at the apartment where they were supposed to be going, police said.
Quaiana Taylor is considered the main suspect who has taken the 7-week-old baby.
Ziairr is 7 weeks old, has dark brown hair and brown eyes, weighs approximately 7 lbs. and is about 20 inches long. He was last seen wearing an orange t-shirt with a monkey picture on it and monkey print pants.
The baby may be wearing different clothing. The mother of the missing stated that the suspect had taken a change of clothes for him.
The suspect is Quaiana Kailee Taylor. She’s a black female, 5’6″ – 5’8″, 190-215 lbs, medium length black straight weave worn in a ponytail. She was last seen wearing an orange tank top and black pants.
According to police, there have been two phone calls from the suspect stating her intention to return the child.
When the mother of the child inquired about her whereabouts, the suspect hung up and turned her phone off. It is not know where they are at this time.
