DETROIT, MI – The Detroit Police Department is seeking assistance from the public in locating a hit and run driver who struck and fatally wounded a 55-year-old Detroit woman on Detroit’s west side.
Detroit police released a sketch of a woman that they believe was the driver of that vehicle.
On Wednesday September 17, 2014 at approximately 10:00 p.m., the victim was crossing the street in the area of Greenfield and Ellis when she was struck by a black or dark-colored Pontiac Grand Prix with a partial plate of “DAA 42?.
The driver of the Grand Prix then fled the scene. She is described as a black female, in her late twenties to early thirties with a smaller build.
