City of Farmington Hills Issues “Stranger Danger” Alert

FARMINGTON HILLS, MI – Parents are being reminded across the state to speak to your children about the issues of “Stranger Danger” and what to do if they feel threatened.

On Tuesday, October 7, 2014, at approximately 3:30 PM, a 12-year-old female was approached by two subjects after she was dropped off at a bus stop. Stranger=Danger

The bus stop is located at the intersection of Steeple Chase and Citation Circle in the Citation Club Apartment Complex. The Citation Club Apartment Complex is located in the 13 Mile and Haggerty area of Farmington Hills.

Subject #1 yelled to her, and when she ignored him, he ran in her direction. She ran to a neighbor’s home and did not see where the subject went.

Subject #2 was in the area with subject #1, but did not say anything or run in her direction. The subjects are described as:

• Subject #1 A black male, approximately 18 years old wearing a gray “Adidas” hooded sweatshirt
• Subject #2 An unknown male

There is no further information on the subjects. The Farmington Hills Police Department has increased patrols in the area.
