CAPAC, MI – For the second time in less than a month, thieves broke into the Capac Pharmacy early this morning.
According to St. Clair County Sheriff Tim Donnellon, the Sheriff’s Office received an alarm call coming from the store, located at 136 North Main Street in the village. The call came in just before 3:00 a.m. Once deputies arrived, it was discovered the pharmacy had again been broken into and prescription drugs were again taken. It appears the suspects gained entry to the store by prying open the front door.
Detectives from the Sheriff’s Office were called to the scene. Their investigation revealed it is likely the same people who are responsible for both break-ins.
Surveillance pictures from the store show two suspect vehicles, a white mid-size car and a gray mid-size car.
The Pharmacy was also broken into during the early morning hours of September 23rd.
The investigation into both burglaries continues. Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Steve Surman at (810) 987-1727 or if you have any information you can submit an ANONYMOUS tip to Crime Stoppers.
