Oakland County Sheriff Seeking Information to Solve a Murder


PONTIAC, MI – A 21-year-old Pontiac man died following a Monday night shooting on the city’s east side, and the Oakland County Sheriff’s Department is seeking the public’s help in solving this murder.oakland county sheriff

The shooting occurred on Monday, October 20th at approximately 11:30 pm in the 300 block of Linda Vista in the City of Pontiac.




Darion Breckenridge, a 21-year-old Pontiac resident, was shot multiple times in his vehicle and was transported to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. A second victim, the passenger in the car, a 26-year-old Pontiac resident, is recovering from his wounds.

Authorities believe the shooting is the result of an argument that occurred in the area of Valencia Street just prior to the shooting on Linda Vista.
