Shooting at School in Seattle Washington; 3 Critical

SEATTLE, WA – A student opened fire in a cafeteria at a school in Washington state on Friday.


One person has died.  The gunman committed suicide.

Police said the gunman was dead but provided no other details on casualties. Marysville-Pilchuck High School was on lockdown as officers evacuated the campus room by room.

A hospital official said three patients were in “very critical condition”.

The shooting happened at 10:39am.  Shooter was a freshman at the school.  The shooting appears to be a fight over a girl.  2500 students attend the school.

After the shooting, someone pulled the fire alarm and students rushed out of classrooms only to be ushered back in by staff as the building was placed on lockdown.
