2 Busted in Calhoun County for Home Invasion

PENNFIELD TOWNSHIP, MI – It sure did not take long after the video was posted concerning a residential burglary for two to be arrested.Calhoun County Suspect

On November 6th, 2014 deputies received a tip as to the identity of the suspect in the surveillance video of the break in on Jessup Road.

At approximately 9pm, deputies executed a search warrant in the 100 block of Sharon Avenue, Pennfield Township. During the search, stolen property was recovered which belonged to the victim’s of the burglary.

A Pennfield Township man was interviewed by detectives and confessed to the burglary. He was then lodged at the Calhoun County Jail and warrants are being sought for Home Invasion and Receiving and Concealing Stolen Property.

A Pennfield Township female was interviewed as well and confessed to aiding the suspect by driving him to the residence on Jessup Road. A warrant is being sought for her arrest for being an accomplice and Receiving and Concealing Stolen Property.
