Port Huron Police make Arrest in Drive-by Shooting


PORT HURON, MI – The Port Huron Police Department have in custody a 22-year-old former Port Huron resident in connection with the drive-by shooting that occurred on November 5th, 2014.DriveBy

Officers responded on Wednesday to the 2100 block of 10th street around 5pm in reference to shots being fired.




Once on scene, officers located two homes that had been struck by bullets.  A male subject was seen running from the area.

The investigation was turned over to the Port Huron Police Department’s Neighborhood Enforcement Team (NET).

During the investigation a subject was developed and was later located Thursday around 9pm in the 150o block of Riverview.  He was taken into custody without incident.

The suspect is scheduled to be arraigned on Sunday, November 9th, 2014.  He is being charged with Discharging a Firearm into an Occupied Dwelling, Felon in Possession of a Firearm and Felony Firearm.
