WATERFORD TOWNSHIP, MI – Three men were arraigned on November 11th, 2014 in 51st District Court for November 8th, 2014 shooting death of Jacob Hershberger, 22-years-old, of Waterford.

Charged are as follows:
Terrance D. Bunting, Jr., 20, of Rochester, felony murder, armed robbery, using a firearm to commit a felony and conspiracy to commit armed robbery. It is believed that he was the first to enter the apartment.
Blake J. Marcum, 25, of Auburn Hills, felony murder, armed robbery, using a firearm to commit a felony and conspiracy to commit armed robbery. He is accused of firing the shot that killed Hershberger.
Donald M. Davis, 22, of Pontiac, felony murder, armed robbery and conspiracy to commit armed robbery. Davis was an acquaintance of Jake Hershberger’s.
The three are accused of breaking into the home of Jacob Hershberger at 5am, struggling with the victim as he tried to defend his girlfriend who was being held with a gun to her head.
During the struggle, Jake was shot in the chest. Unfortunately, he died at the scene from his injuries.
All of the men were denied bond, and each will be provided with a court-appointed attorney.
If tried and convicted they each face life in prison without parole.
