Detroit Police Arrest one Carjacking Suspect; Two more Sought

DETROIT, MI – Officers from the 8th Precinct located and apprehended a Suspect wanted in connection with a carjacking that occurred on November 16th, 2014. carjacking

In the 19300 block of Rutherford Street, a 25-year-old male victim exited his vehicle when a blue Nissan Altima occupied by three suspects, pulled in front of him.

One of the suspects then exited the Nissan and robbed the victim at gunpoint. Taken was a dark gray 2014 Dodge Charger, and a gray Apple I-Phone 6.

The suspect fled the location in the Victim’s vehicle. On November 17, 2014, officers located one of the Suspects and took him into custody without incident.
