ST. CLAIR COUNTY, MI – MDOT will be improving nearly 11 miles of eastbound I-69 from west of M-19 (Kinney Road) to east of Taylor Road.
Work includes reconstructing the roadway and interchanges at M-19 (Kinney Road), Wales Center Road, and Taylor Road; bridge approaches; bridge repairs of seven structures and three box culverts; drainage and safety improvement; new signs and pavement markings; guard rail work; and Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) work.
Work on this $55 million investment is scheduled to begin in spring 2015 and be finished in fall 2016.
An open house-style meeting will provide an overview of the upcoming I-69 reconstruction project in the townships of Riley, Wales and Kimball. Interested parties will have the opportunity to learn details about the project.
