$100,000 Reward Offered in Slaying of Grosse Pointe Teen

GROSSE POINTE, MI – A reward of $100,000 is being offered in the arrest and conviction of the individual responsible for the fatal shooting of a 16-year-old female from Grosse Pointe. Paige-Stalker

Anonymous donors have come forward with $100,000 to offer as a reward to solve the shooting of four teenagers.

On Saturday, December 22nd, 2014, at approximately 8:55 p.m., officers responded to Beaumont hospital in Grosse Pointe and were advised that a shooting had taken place in the area of Charlevoix and Philip which is just over the border of Grosse Pointe in Detroit.

Five teens were stopped, when a light colored sedan approached, an unknown male exited the vehicle and fired close to 30 rounds on the teens, fatally wounding the 16-year-old victim, Paige Stalker, and injuring three others that were inside of the vehicle. The fifth victim, a 15-year-old female was also inside of the vehicle but was not injured during this incident.

The suspect is described as a black male, wearing dark clothing, armed with some type of assault rifle, and driving a light colored vehicle, possibly an older model tan Cadillac.

Police believe the incident may have been a robbery gone horribly wrong.

Anyone with information pertaining to this crime, is asked to contact the Detroit Police Department at 596-2663. You are asked to leave a message with your name and a contact number. Due to the substantial amount of money offered in this matter, all tipsters are required to leave their information to obtain the $100,000 reward.

The Detroit Police Department will do everything possible to keep your information anonymous but your tip must be substantiated by an investigator.
