FLINT, MI – A 20-year-old Flint man is facing four felony counts after being arrested by Flint Police on December 27th, 2014.
On December 27th, 2014, at approximately 7am, Flint Police received a report that a man kicked in the door of an occupied home.
After a lengthy foot pursuit and search of the area, which included information from citizens in the area, a suspect was arrested.
Dequavius Tyler, 20-years-old, has since been charged and arraigned for 1st Degree Home Invasion, Felon in Possession of a Firearm, Felonious Assault and Felony Firearm.
Tyler has a previous conviction of Unarmed Robbery from 2012. He was on probation when the allegedly committed the crimes being reported. His probation is not due to end until 2016.
