Kalamazoo Man Injured In Early Morning Stabbing


KALAMAZOO, MI – On Tuesday, December 30th, 2014 at Stabbingapproximately 4:37a.m., Kalamazoo Public Safety officers responded to the Waverly Place Apartments, located in the 1400 block of Banbury Road, on a report of a stabbing.

Upon arrival, officers found a 24 year-old male with a stab wound to his chest. Officers determined that the victim’s girlfriend stabbed him after a dispute.




The victim was transported to Bronson Hospital and was listed in stable condition. The 24 year old suspect was arrested and lodged at the Kalamazoo County jail on the charge assault with intent to murder pending review by the prosecutor’s office.
