Search for Wayne State University student Ken Gruno Continues

OTIVISVILLE, MI – Search crews were out in force on New Year’s Day along Irish Road, in Genesee County, looking for Ken Gruno who disappeared on December 27th, 2014.Ken Gruno

Some 80 people joined the search where they walked through fields, brush and wooded areas in hopes of locating the missing man.

Ken Gruno, 27-years-old, of Otisville walked out of the Otisville Hotel Bar at about 1 a.m. leaving behind his coat and debit card.  He had stepped outside of the bar to get some fresh air.  He has not been seen since then and there is no known reason for him to be missing.

Search teams from the Michigan State Police, Genesee and Shiawassee sheriff’s departments, including dog teams, friends and family members have all been involved in the looking for Gruno.  Those searching for him have vowed that they will not give up until he is found.

Ken Gruno who is a U.S. Air Force veteran and Wayne State University student, is described as 5 feet, 11 inches tall and weighs about 175 pounds. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a vest, gray flannel shirt and colorful bow tie with slip-on work boots.
