Saturday night: Snow will stretch from the central Plains to Michigan, with a mix of rain and snow from southwestern Missouri into central Illinois. Snow, sleet and freezing rain will change to rain overnight in New York and central and southern New England. Parts of northern New England will continue to see snow.
Sunday: Snow showers continue in the Great Lakes and Ohio Valley. Snow to freezing rain will be found near the U.S. Canadian border in the Northeast. Rain will prevail farther south. It will be windy throughout the Northeast and damaging wind gusts are possible.
Parts of the Upper Midwest, Upstate New York and northern New England could pick up 6 inches or more of total snowfall through Sunday.
