ALPENA, MI – On Monday, January 19th, 2015 Dustin Timm was in court for charges that stem from the break-in of a home and a hunting cabin off Piper Road in Alpena. Timm was recently rearrested for the burglary of the BP Gas Station in Ossineke.
He is accused of breaking into a home and hunting cabin in November of 2014. An elderly woman who was in her home at the time of the break-in was very frightened.
Christine Robinson posted to the Alpena County Sheriff’s Facebook page that “This guy needs to stay behind bars! Obviously, he hasn’t learned. He broke into my grandmothers home and took her away from her comfort of living in her own home!”
Timm is charged with home invasion in the first and second degree, felony firearms and possession of a short barrel shotgun. A status conference is scheduled in February.
26th Circuit Court Judge Michael Mack revoked Timm’s bond from the Alpena home invasions after learning of the BP Gas Station break-in
Timm remains lodged in the Alpena County Jail.
