Law enforcement officers and their families were treated to a free dinner at the post, while others attending paid a small fee for a delicious dinner.

“We are very thankful and humbled by the gesture from the American Legion,” said Sheriff Donnellon. “We love our relationship with them, as they have been very supportive of our office and law enforcement in general.”

The money raised during the dinner will be donated to the Thin Blue Line, which is a non-profit agency that supports and assists families of law enforcement officers killed and injured in the line of duty.

Thank you Charles Hammond American Legion Post 8!
