DETROIT, MI – One the young victims of the car crash on I-96 will be laid to rest this week. Funeral arrangements for Darius Berrien have been announced.
Darius Berrien, 17-years-old, was killed in an auto accident on I-96 in Detroit near Schaefer Hwy around 11:00pm on February 14th, 2015. He and his best friend Haason Abdul-Kareem, 19-years-old, from Detroit, both died as result of their injuries following the accident.
Darius Berrien’s funeral services are scheduled at Carter Metropolitan CME Church 1510 W. Grand Blvd; Detroit, MI 48208 for Saturday, February 21, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. (family hour begins at 10:30 a.m.).
For those unable to attend, viewing is allowed on Friday, February 20, 2015; 2-9:00 pm at Heards & Taylor Funeral Home; 1540 W. Grand Blvd. Detroit, MI.
