PORT HURON, MI – Three people were arrested Wednesday night, February 18th, 2015, as the result of a heroin investigation by the St. Clair County Drug Task Force.
According to Sheriff Tim Donnellon, the DTF was conducting an investigation into the sales of heroin in the Port Huron area. At about 9:00 on February 18th, a search warrant was served in the 600 block of White Street in Port Huron. Heroin was found in the residence, along with marijuana, manufacturing and distributing materials. The heroin found was valued at about $500.
Three people were arrested as a result of the investigation. They are a 40-year-old man from Detroit, along with a 45-year-old man and 30-year-old woman from Port Huron. The three are expected to face several drug charges, including possession of heroin with intent to deliver and possession of marijuana.
The Sheriff’s Office K-9 Unit and Port Huron Police Department assisted in the investigation.
