LANSING, MI – The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) invites the public to attend an informational meeting regarding proposed improvements on US-10 Business Route (BR) from M-20 to Saginaw Road in Midland County.
This open house-style meeting will provide an opportunity for the public to meet with MDOT staff and ask questions about the road construction project.
In addition to road reconstruction on US-10 BR, work includes storm and sanitary sewer, water main, and geometric improvements. A lane reduction also is proposed on Indian Street. Construction is scheduled to begin in March with completion expected by the end of the 2015 construction season. The proposed project will benefit motorists by enhancing safety and increasing ride quality.
Interested residents, business and community representatives are invited to stop by anytime during this design open house-style meeting to learn more about the project and provide input. MDOT staff members will be available to answer questions.
