PORT HURON, MI – Six people were arrested and drugs were seized as the result of a St. Clair County Drug Task Force investigation Monday night, February 23rd, 2015.
According to Sheriff Tim Donnellon, the DTF was conducting an investigation into the sales of heroin in the Port Huron area. That investigation led to the execution of a search warrant in the 500 block of 15th Street in the city of Port Huron at about 10:00 p.m. on February 23rd. During the search of the residence, about $500 worth of heroin was seized, along with $2,000 worth of marijuana, analog pills, manufacturing materials and distributing materials.
The six people arrested were a 26-year-old man from Flint, a 24-year-old man from Detroit, three men from Port Huron, ages 26, 35 and 37 and a 36-year-old Port Huron woman. They are expected to face charges including possession of marijuana with intent to deliver, possession of heroin with intent to deliver, and possession of analog pills.
The Sheriff’s Office Special Response Team assisted in the investigation.
