FLINT, MI – Flint Police have been busy getting weapons out of the hands of those who should not be carrying them. They have arrested a second man for Carrying a Concealed Weapon.
On Friday, March 6th, 2015, at approximately 7am Flint Police responded to the 1200 block Markham for a report of a subject with a gun threatening to shoot into a home.
Upon arrival officers observed a vehicle leaving the area and observed that the driver fit the description of the suspect. Officers followed the vehicle to a dead end at which time the driver fled on foot. The driver was tracked and located nearby hiding behind a garage.
A handgun was seized from the vehicle. The suspect, Calvin Johnson, Jr., 24-years-old, has since been charged and arraigned in this case for Carrying a Concealed Weapon and Carrying a Dangerous Weapon with Unlawful Intent.
