PORT HURON, MI – A month long investigation into the sales of crack cocaine ended on June 30th, 2015 with the seizure of drugs and the arrest of four people.
According to Sheriff Tim Donnellon, the St. Clair County Drug Task Force conducted the investigation into drug sales in the city of Port Huron. On Tuesday afternoon at about 2:15, the DTF executed a search warrant at the Days Inn, located at 2908 Pine Grove Avenue. Approximately $1000 worth of crack cocaine was seized, along with smaller amounts of heroin and marijuana and cash.
The four people arrested were all men; a 24 year old Detroit resident, a 29 year old from Chesterfield, a 27 year old from Port Huron and a 26 year old Port Huron resident.
The four are expected to face charges including possession with intent to deliver crack cocaine, possession with intent to deliver heroin, possession of marijuana, maintaining a drug house and resisting and obstructing police.
The St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office, Port Huron Police Department and the U.S. Border Enforcement Security Team assisted in the execution of the search warrant.
