PORT HURON, MI – Two Detroit residents were arrested as the result of a St. Clair County Drug Task Force raid Wednesday night.
According to St. Clair County Sheriff Tim Donnellon, the DTF was conducting an investigation into the sales of heroin and cocaine in the Port Huron area. At about 9:30 p.m. Wednesday, members of the Drug Task Force executed a search warrant in the 2000 block of Nern Street in the city of Port Huron. During the search, about $200 worth of heroin, $100 worth of crack cocaine, marijuana, cash and drug paraphernalia was seized.
The two people arrested, a 27 year old man and 23 year old woman, face charges including possession with intent to deliver heroin, possession of cocaine, possession of marijuana, maintaining a drug house and habitual offender.
The Sheriff’s Office Special Response Team and Port Huron Police Department assisted in the execution of the search warrant.
