PORT HURON TOWNSHIP, MI – A drug raid conducted by the St. Clair County Drug Task Force last night saw the seizure of heroin, cocaine and marijuana.
According to Sheriff Tim Donnellon, the DTF was conducting an investigation into the sales of heroin and cocaine in the city of Port Huron and Port Huron Township. The investigation led to the execution of a search warrant at a residence in the 4100 block of Dove Road in Port Huron Township at about 9:00 p.m.
During the search, about $300 worth of crack cocaine was seized, along with about $300 worth of heroin, a smaller amount of marijuana, cash and drug paraphernalia.
A 40-year-old man from Detroit was arrested at the home. He is expected to face charges including possession with intent to deliver heroin, possession with intent to deliver crack cocaine, possession of marijuana and being a habitual 3rd offender. The suspect also had two outstanding warrants at the time of his arrest.
The St. Clair County Sheriff Special Response Team and Sheriff’s Office Road Patrol assisted during the search of the home.
