Cocaine Seized in St. Clair County Drug Bust

PORT HURON, MI – A 53 year old Port Huron man is lodged at the St. Clair County Intervention and Detention Center today, following a drug raid on Thursday, October 1st, 2015.drug bust

According to Sheriff Tim Donnellon, the St. Clair County Drug Task Force was conducting an investigation into narcotics sales in the city of Port Huron. Information was gathered and a search warrant for a home in the 2100 block of 21st Street was signed.

The DTF executed the search warrant at about 10:00 p.m. Thursday night. Once inside, DTF agents located and seized about $800 worth of cocaine, along with drug paraphernalia, cash, cell phones and packaging materials.

The suspect is expected to face charges including possession with intent to deliver cocaine, maintaining a drug house and being a habitual offender.

The St. Clair County Sheriff Special Response Team and the Sheriff K-9 Unit assisted in the execution of the search warrant.
