Initial Autopsy Results Released on Body Recovered from Lake Huron

WORTH TOWNSHIP, MI – An autopsy was performed late afternoon on October 6th, 2015 on the body discovered Sunday, October 4th, 2015 on the Lake Huron beach in the 6200 block of South Lakeshore Road in Worth Township.Vessel from Missing Persons case in Macomb County in Lake Huron

The body was officially identified as 60-year-old Patrick Michael Presutti of Macomb Michigan. The Sanilac County Medical Examiner, Dr. Starbird ruled that the official cause of death was drowning, with no blunt force trauma or other major injuries indicated. Further information will be made available pending the toxicology reports and case analysis.

The body discovery was that of the 60-year-old man from Macomb, Michigan who went missing from his vessel on or around August 30th. The Vessel was recovered by the Sanilac County Sheriff’s Office after being discovered partially submerged in Lake Huron near Forestville on September 7, 2015 by a passing freighter.
