DETROIT, MI – The crash occurred on southbound I-75 near Livernois in the early morning hours of Sunday, December 6th, 2015 at around 5:40 a.m.
Preliminary reports are that the driver of an SUV, a white Chrysler Pacifica, was speeding on the service drive. That driver lost control of the vehicle where it crashed through a fence. The vehicle then rolled-over, landing on the freeway. The vehicle could be seen smashed against the center median. The front bumper was against the pavement and the rear wheels were in the air.
A 28-year-old man, a 23-year-old man and a 32-year-old woman were sent to a local hospital in critical condition.
Motorists were being advised to use I-94 west to Southfield Road to get back to I-75 south.
