EVERGREEN TOWNSHIP, MI – On Tuesday, December 8th, 2015 at approximately 12:30 p.m., Sanilac County Dispatch received a 911 call from On-Star reporting a single vehicle accident on Leslie Road near Argyle Road in Evergreen Township.
According to authorities, a 2015 Buick driven by 61-year-old Bonnie AdkinsSalowitz of Decker was traveling North on Leslie Road when the vehicle began to drift across the center and ended up going into the ditch on the west side of the road. The vehicle proceeded along the ditch bank, striking an embankment for a private driveway and the vehicle went up and over the driveway and came to rest in the ditch.
The female driver received minor injuries in the accident. She was transported to Hills and Dales Hospital in Cass City by Cass City MMR. She was also being evaluated for a possible medical condition which led to the accident.
It does not appear that Alcohol or Speed were factors in the crash and the driver was wearing her seat-belt at the time of the crash.
The Sanilac County Sheriff’s Office Personallly Assigned Vehicle Program was utilized for this accident.
Sanilac County Deputies were assisted at the scene by Argyle Fire and Cass City MMR.
