DETROIT, MI – Detroit Police were actively searching for a missing 24-year-old woman. They have found her body on Detroit’s west side.
Kajazia Globe was last seen alive in the area of McNichols and the Southfield Service Drive on December 11th, 2015, shortly before 12 noon. Her ATM card was last used at 7 Mile and Telegraph.
Detroit police are working to positively confirm that the body that was discovered in the back yard of a house in the 18500 block of Fielding is that of Globe.
Her car was found near Chatham Street and Fenkell Avenue at 6:30 a.m. Monday, December 14th, 2015. After the vehicle was located, investigators discovered foul play inside Globe’s 2003 gold Chevy Impala.
Globe’s family had been tirelessly searching for her since Friday afternoon. It was not until late Monday afternoon that the hopes of finding Kajazia alive were dashed.
Detroit Police have released an image of a masked person shown using Globe’s ATM card. About $500 was taken from a Fifth Third Bank on Seven Mile and Telegraph. The woman’s body was found not far from there.
