Detroit Police Seek Assistance to Solve Bank Robbery

DETROIT, MI – The Detroit Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating a suspect wanted in a bank robbery that occurred in the 18000 block of Woodward.2016-01-06_at_13.36.40_from_022 TELLER #5_on_BC022

On Tuesday, January 06, 2016 at approximately 1:30 p.m. the suspect walked into the Comerica Bank, approached the teller window and stated “Give me the money and put the money in a bag”. The male suspect escaped with an undisclosed amount of U.S. currency.

The suspect is described as a black male approximately 25 years old, light brown complexion, short afro; wearing a black sweatshirt with a hood, blue vest and bright green gloves (which were left at the scene).
