UPDATE: Ora Crayton has been found and is safe.
DETROIT, MI – Detroit Police are searching for a missing 83-year-old woman and they are asking for assistance from the public to locate her.
Ora Crayton was last seen by her step-daughter on Friday, January 15th, 2016 at 12:00 p.m. in the 5000 block of Joy Road.
Ms. Crayton is described as a black female, 83, medium complexion, 5’2?; last seen wearing silver-framed clear lens glasses, red or gray hat with a ball on the top, red sweater, driving away from her residence.
Clayton stated she was going to the store, possibly going to either Home Pride Market on Joy/Wyoming or the party store on Epworth/Joy.
Ora Crayton suffers from Alzheimer’s disease. She has an Illinois driver’s license with the name Ora Lee Kuenning. She just relocated back to Detroit from Illinois in 11/2015.
Ora Crayton is driving a black 2008 Dodge Caliber SX with Illinois Plate number H961739.
