Detroit Police Seek Information in Fatal Shooting at Outer Dr and Conley

DETROIT, MI – The Detroit Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating four suspects wanted in connection with a fatal shooting that occurred on the city’s east side.Tia Taylor

On Wednesday, March 9th, 2016 at approximately midnight, in the area of Outer Drive and Conley, a black Yukon or Tahoe SUV (with Z71 graphics on the rear quarter panel) pulled up alongside of the vehicle that the victim was inside. An armed suspect from inside the SUV, fired several shots at the vehicle, which resulted in a 28 year-old female victim, Tia Taylor, being shot.  Ms. Taylor was fatally wounded.

In the video provided, you will see the four wanted suspects, (all black males), entering a near-by store.

The suspects are described as follows:

  • Suspect 1) Black male, wearing a black shirt and tan pants
  • Suspect 2) Black male, wearing a black shirt and black pants, gray shoes
  • Suspect 3) Black male, wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt and tan pants
  • Suspect 4) Black male, wearing a tan jacket and tan pants
