Detroit Police seek Information on West 7 Mile Rd Shooting (Video)

DETROIT, MI – The Detroit Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating and identifying four suspects wanted in connection with a non-fatal shooting that occurred on the city’s west side.

On Sunday, March 27th, 2016, at approximately 1:30 a.m., in the 15900 block of W. 7 Mile Road, the 23-year-old male victim was attempting to enter a restaurant, when an unknown male suspect opened fire outside of the location. As a result, the victim sustained a gunshot wound to the body. After the shooting, the suspect fled the location in a silver, four door vehicle, with three other male occupants. The victim was privately conveyed to a local hospital for treatment of a non-fatal gunshot wound and listed in stable condition.

  • Suspect #1 – Black male wearing dark hooded sweat shirt with white drawstrings and dark colored pants.
  • Suspect #2 – Black male, light complexion, full beard and mustache, dark colored clothing.
  • Suspect #3 – Black male, brown complexion, baseball hat, dark colored clothing
  • Suspect #4 – Black male, medium brown complexion, dark colored clothing, red shirt underneath.
