WASHTENAW COUNTY, MI – US-12 will be affected in downtown Saline between April and November. Work includes widening US-12 to five lanes between Monroe Street and Harris Street. MDOT

During construction, only one lane of westbound traffic will be open between Monroe Street and Maple Road, with eastbound traffic detoured using Henry Street. Henry Street will be resurfaced after construction on US-12 is complete.

One lane will be open in each direction between the bridge and Monroe Street. There also will be short-term intersection closures with a detour posted. Temporary traffic signals will be in place on Henry Street at Ann Arbor Street, Harris Street and Old Creek Drive. Trucks will be encouraged to use M-50 or I-94, as oversized loads will be prohibited along US-12 during construction.
